Restorative dentistry involves several aspects of dentistry. It includes filling cavities in teeth, but so much more. Some people need teeth protected with more than a filling, and may have a new complete covering made, called a crown. Restorative dentistry may also include replacing missing teeth with removeable partial dentures, fixed bridges, or dental implants. Dr DiTullio has been a teacher at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine since finishing his post-graduate work at Tufts-Medical Center, and continues to be an active part of the dental school. Lastly, restorative dentistry can involve complete denture fabrication.
